What we keep, and what we do not

Last updated 2026-10-05. This policy is for bestpowerdrills.com and its brand subdomains.

Reaching us about your data

Write to [email protected] if you want to know what we hold about you or ask us to delete it. There are no accounts on this site, so in most cases the only thing tied to you is a server log line with an IP address and a timestamp. We will confirm what we can and remove what we are able to.

Server logs we keep for security

Our host writes standard access logs: IP address, browser string, the page requested, and the time. We use them to spot abuse, block scrapers, and debug errors. We do not build profiles from them, we do not sell them, and we do not combine them with anything else. They age out on the host's normal schedule.

The catalog picker and your browser

The picker on the catalog pages stores your filter choices in your browser's localStorage. That data stays on your device. It is not sent to us, not logged, and not shared. Clearing your browser storage removes it. If you use a shared computer, the next person can see which filters you left set.

California rights and other requests

We do not sell personal information as the CCPA defines a sale. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents can still email [email protected] to ask what we hold, request deletion, or ask us to stop a specific use. We will respond within the time the law allows.

Children and this site

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us something, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

Visit counts

This site loads Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are opened. A short notice on the site explains that. Google’s own policy covers that processing. We do not receive your name from it.
